Riverine Bangla Photo Tour Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL DHAKA

After arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport and then take you to the hotel for check-in. this afternoon’s photoshoot at old Dhaka city, People & their custom & heritage, and rickshaws (tricycles). A special Welcome Dinner & Enjoy the slideshow presentation by our photo guide, you will get more information and idea which will be helpful for your journey.

DAY 02: SHIPYARD

At morning photo shoot on the old Dhaka city riverside where you will capture hundreds of people crossing river bus small local boats and riverside market and activities.  Next we will enter the Shipyard, a slum, and home to the largest shipyard in Asia. A labyrinth-like city in which giant skeletons of old ships provide work for around 15,000 people, with the task of dismantling ships, and creating new boats with the recovered parts.

DAY 03: PINEAPPLE MARKET

At down we drive to pineapple city. Discover pineapple harvesting and wholesale market of pineapples. Farmers taking pineapples to market by bicycle, long trail of many pineapples loaded bicycle, stack pineapples, storing and loading in to trucks.

DAY 04: COAL PORT
In the morning photography on the coal port where every day more than 3000 daily laborers come here to unloading black coals, bricks and sands carry on their heads from lighter vessels. Next, we will visit leather processing small factories, drying leather in the open sun and processing.

DAY 05: GUAVA FLOATING MARKET

Explore the biggest floating Guava market of Bangladesh at the best of the season of guava harvesting. It is a completely rural area, farmers harvesting guava at guava gardens and taking guavas to the floating market by their local small boats, you will also enjoy the village market, local boat market and river cursing by local boat. Next visit the Barisal old market and riverside life. at the evening boarding to ferry for back to Dhaka.

DAY 06: BARISAL-DHAKA

After breakfast, we will drive to the floating wood market, photoshoot on people taking wood lots on the river, and sell activities. next, we will enter the local village market, there are hundreds of small temporary shops in and around the market. this is a completely rural market selling local boats,  fishing traps, live chickens, fish, vegetables. After lunch, we will enter Barishal’s old market and photoshoot on riverside life. at the evening boarding to ferry for Dhaka.

DAY 07: DHAKA-BATIK VILLAGE

In the morning we will drive to Vatik fabrics village, photograph the biggest tie-dying (Batik) village of Bangladesh, people making colors on fabrics by traditional process and dry fabrics in the sun. Rice factories, people working rice factories, the lines of rice paddy while the sun-dry process in the courtyard.

DAY 08: DHAKA-SOUTH CITY

After breakfast check out the hotel and drive through to the south city. On the way We will enter the biggest wholesale vegetable market, there are hundreds of small temporary shops in and around the market. The market has separate blocks for wholesale trade in fish, vegetables fruits, and rice. after lunch visit Ship -Breaking graveyard by river cruise, explore ship breaking and cutting parts of ships.

DAY 09: SOUTH CITY – SOUTH BAY

In the morning the biggest sea fish port and wholesale fish market. Fishermen unloading sea fishes from boats, repairing fishing nets. Drive through to the south bay, explore the world’s longest sea beach, fishing activities and children playing until sunset

DAY 10: SOUTH BAY

In the morning photography on the biggest betel nut market in Bangladesh. Hundreds of villagers carry betel nuts to the market, people selling and storing nuts. Afternoon photography in the world’s longest sea beach, colorful moon shape boats, fishing on the sea beach, fishermen making and repairing nets, dragging fishing boats, and sunset on the beach.

DAY 11: SOUTH BAY – DHAKA

Early morning photography in the biggest dry fish village of Bangladesh. Hundreds of village people working on, drying fish by a traditional process in the sun. Afternoon flight to Dhaka and photography on the train track slums where people living beside train lines and their daily life activities.

DAY 12: DHAKA-DEPARTURE

Early Morning photography on the chicken market. After breakfast preparing to check out the hotel. According to your individual Flight departure time, we will drop you at the airport and bid you a fond farewell.
