The “Bishwa Ijtema” Muslim Pilgrimage the World Muslim congress held at Bangladesh every year in January since 1942. It is the 2nd largest Muslim congregation in the world after the holy Hajj, More than 4 million Muslims gathered at Bishaw Ijtema. 3 days long activities of devotees praying, pray on the road, discussion on Islam, bath, cooking, and others in the congress area. After Congress, the tours continue to North-East Districts & South Diversity of Bangladesh. In this expedition, you will explore Bangladesh’s riches Festival, overcrowded Trains, peoples, daily life and culture with amazing photography opportunities.

Muslim Pilgrimage Photo Tour Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL DHAKA

After arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport then take you to the hotel for check-in. this afternoon photoshoot at old Dhaka city, Peoples & their custom & heritage, rickshaws (tricycle). A special Welcome Dinner & Enjoy the slideshow presentation by our photo guide, you will get more information and idea which will be helpful for your journey.

DAY 02: MUSLIM CONGRESS

Inauguration day of the Muslim Congress, the World Muslim congress held in Bangladesh every year in January since 1942, more than 4 million devotees gather in the congress. Photo shoot on devotees are coming to the congress by overcrowded train, Boats & Buses, Muslims pray on the road, Muslim congress activities, discussion on Islam, bath, cooking, and others.

DAY 03: SHIPYARD

At morning photo shoot on the old Dhaka city riverside where you will capture hundreds of people crossing river bus small local boats and riverside market and activities. Afternoon photo shoot on Asia’s largest shipyard where more than 15000 peoples are working on dismantling, repairing and creating new ships with the recovered parts.

DAY 04: FINAL PRAY

Final pray of the Muslim congress or pilgrimage. Whole day Photo shoot on final pray, after final pray devotees are returning home by overcrowded train, risky ride to roof of the trains, buses, boats, and other transport.

DAY 5: BATIK & RICE FACTORIES

After checking out the hotel our destination to the Northeast Districts. On the way photoshoot In Batik village, village people printing and making colors on fabrics. Afternoon photo shoot on Rice factories, village people are drying rice on the country yard.

DAY 6: STONE MINE

Whole day photoshoot on stone mine. Around 20000 stone labors are engaged with stone searching, collecting and crushing in this area. They are searching and collecting stones by local traditional boats, winnowing stones, crushing stones.

DAY 7: STONE CITY – DHAKA

In the morning we will enter the dump yard for photoshoot on people collecting junk in the garbage field. Morning fog and garbage fire smoke mix make a dramatic effect in the area that greatly supports photography. On the way, we will explore also village life.

DAY 8: DHAKA-SOUTH CITY

After breakfast check out the hotel and drive through to the south city. On the way explores traditional brick factories. where brick laborers making brick by hand in the traditional processes. Red bricks with dust carry on their overhead.

DAY 9: SOUTH CITY – SOUTH BAY

In the morning the biggest sea fish port and wholesale fish market. Fishermen unloading sea fishes from boats, repairing fishing nets. Drive through to the south bay, explore the world’s longest sea beach, fishing activities and children playing until sunset.

DAY 10: SOUTH BAY

In the morning explore 100 kilometers long the world’s longest sea beach, and visit fishing boat landing points, fishing boats coming back from the deep sea and fishing activities. hundreds of colorful moon shape fishing boats stacked on the sea beach, fishermen preparing to go deep sea, fishing on the sea beach, fishermen making and repairing nets, dragging fishing boats, and sunset on the beach.

DAY 11: SOUTH BAY – DHAKA

Early morning photography in the biggest dry fish village of Bangladesh. Hundreds of village people working on, drying fish by a traditional process in the sun. Afternoon flight to Dhaka and photography on the biggest vegetable market, where people are busy with their daily life activities.

DAY 12: DHAKA-DEPARTURE

Early Morning photography on the vegetables market. After breakfast preparing to check out the hotel. According to your individual Flight departure time, we will drop you at the airport and bid you a fond farewell.
