Muslim Eid is the biggest Muslim festival in Bangladesh, during this festival, more than 10 million people left the capital city Dhaka to their origin homes by train, bus, and ferry. Due to not sufficient transport in this time, people travel by overcrowded roof of trains, overloaded ferries, and buses. On this trip, you will also explore the food festival, Asia’s largest shipyard, Fishing at sea beach, people, daily life, and culture with amazing photography opportunities.

Muslim Eid Festival Photo Tour Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL DHAKA
After arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport and then take you to the hotel for check-in. this afternoon’s photoshoot at old Dhaka city, People & their custom & heritage, and rickshaws (tricycles). A special Welcome Dinner & Enjoy the slideshow presentation by our photo guide, you will get more information and idea which will be helpful for your journey.

DAY 03: BATIK VILLAGE-RICE FACTORIES
At dawn, we will leave for the Northeast of the country. Along the way, we will stop to photograph the biggest tie-dying (Batik) village of Bangladesh, people making colors on fabrics by traditional process and dry fabrics in the sun. Rice factories, people working rice factories, the lines of rice paddy while the sun-dry process in the courtyard.

DAY 04: DHAKA – SOUTH CITY
At morning we will enter several brick factories, explores whole traditional process of bricking making where brick laborers making brick by hand in the traditional processes. Red bricks with dust carry on their overhead. After lunch we will drive to South city.

DAY 04: SOUTH CITY-SOUTH BAY
In the morning the biggest sea fish port and wholesale fish market. Fishermen unloading sea fishes from boats, and repairing fishing nets. Drive through to the south bay, explore the world’s longest sea beach, fishing activities and children playing until sunset.

DAY 05: SOUTH BAY
In the morning photography on the biggest betel nut market in Bangladesh. Hundreds of villagers carry betel nuts to the market, people selling and storing nuts. Afternoon photography in the world’s longest sea beach, colorful moon shape boats, fishing on the sea beach, fishermen making and repairing nets, dragging fishing boats, and sunset on the beach.

DAY 06: SOUTH BAY-DHAKA
Early morning photography in the biggest dry fish village in Bangladesh. Hundreds of village people work on drying fish by a traditional process in the sun—afternoon flight to Dhaka and photography on the old Dhaka city street.

DAY 07: SHIPYARD
At morning photo shoot on the old Dhaka city riverside where you will capture hundreds of people crossing river bus small local boats and riverside market and activities. Next we will enter the Shipyard, a slum, and home to the largest shipyard in Asia. A labyrinth-like city in which giant skeletons of old ships provide work for around 15,000 people, with the task of dismantling ships, and creating new boats with the recovered parts.

DAY 08: DHAKA-NORTH BENGAL
At dawn, we will leave for the North Bengal of the country. Along the way, we will stop to photograph the coal port where every day more than 3000 daily laborers come here to unloading black coals, bricks and sands carry on their heads from lighter vessels. Next, we will stop village photography of the natural Shawla or alga plant in the river and birdseye view of the green river from the bridge.

DAY 09: RED CHILIES
At down we well enter to the local vegetable market, local people bring vegetables to the local market for sale. after that Explore the most spectacular red chilies processing on sundry, village people drying red chilies sundry on the courtyard, making beautiful lines and lanes on drying red chilies courtyard. Driving to Dhaka.

DAY 10: RAMADAN FOOD FESTIVAL
At morning photography on old motor parts shops and street photography.After lunch lunch photo shoot on Ramadan food festival at old Dhaka city, it’s history of 100 years.

DAY 11: TRAIN STATION
Muslim Eid is the biggest Muslim festival in Bangladesh, during this festival, more than 10 million people left the capital city Dhaka to their origin homes by train, bus, and ferry. Photo shoot on overcrowded train, people traveling roof of the train.

DAY 12: TRAIN STATION-FERRY TERMINAL
the morning session photoshoot another train station of the city, overcrowded trains, risky ride rooftop of trains. Next photoshoot on overcrowded ferries, thousands of people traveling to go origin home at the village.

DAY 13: MUSLIM EID FESTIVAL
Early morning explores Muslim Eid ul Adha activities, central mosque and central Eidgah field where thousands of Muslims join the Eid Special pray. The second session explores old Dhaka city, which enjoys Eid festival activities and street photography.

DAY 14: DHAKA-DEPARTURE
Early Morning photography on the chicken market. After breakfast preparing to check out the hotel. According to your individual Flight departure time, we will drop you at the airport and bid you a fond farewell.
